The Victorian Orff Schulwerk Association is part of a world wide movement of music educators. VOSA is based in Victoria, Australia and was formed in 1977. It currently has a membership of approximately 350. VOSA is linked to ANCOS, the Australian National body representing Orff-Schulwerk.

VOSA membership offers:
- Reduced rates at workshops, including day and weekend sessions covering the pre-school, primary and secondary areas.
- Reduced rates for state and national conferences, country and community workshops, professional development programs, conferences and courses.
- A library of books, journals, tapes and other materials for members to borrow.
- Regular newsletters which include details of coming workshops, informative articles, and detailed workshop reports.
- Music educational materials for sale, including Orff publications, booklets and tapes.

Committee
The VOSA committee is made up of committed Orff educators. They have a wealth of Australian and overseas experience participating in and presenting the Orff approach. This committee oversees the running of the Victorian Association and its members are a fantastic resource to anyone needing more information on Orff Schulwerk.

Professional Development
VOSA offers a variety of professional development throughout the year. Whole day and half days in-service sessions are provided as well as conferences and family days. Annual events such as Back to School Day, Living Music & Dance, ECCPA, Marimba Camp and Orff Schulwerk Level Courses are looked forward to by all members and others interested in music education and community music. Newsletter
VOSA produces 4 newsletters a year for its members. The newsletter, Musette, informs members of upcoming events and includes many great ideas and musical examples for teaching through the Orff approach. The newsletter reflects on current music education issues and is an extremely rich source of Orff-friendly ideas. We welcome contributions from members. Contact the editor.

Membership begins from the month fees are received and is valid for 12 months.
